How do I secure Powder Room for my wedding date?
Please note that inquiring about a certain date does not guarantee you that date. We will need a completed and signed contract agreement from you, with the deposit (20%) in order to book your date. Deposit does apply to the Wedding Day balance. To be fair we book on a first come/first serve basis.

Can you stay to touch up my makeup?
Yes! Although your makeup application will be completed using techniques to achieve a long lasting look - if you're a heavy crier (I don't blame you girl!), have very oily skin (I feel you!), or opt in for a bold or bright lip that you want to stay in tip top shape all night, then this is a great option for any bride who doesn't want to worry about touching up her own makeup during her wedding day festivities. This is an additional service and is charged by the hour.
When should I schedule my bridal trial?
3 months before your wedding is the "sweet spot". Most brides have made final decisions on colors, how they will wear their hair, etc. We've found that when trials are done too far in advance, wedding details may have changed and thus the bride may want to change or adjust her look. Although second trials are an option, they are just an additional cost.
Is there a minimum requirement for weddings?
The minimum for all clients requiring travel within 50 miles of the studio (63028) is $500. The minimum for all clients requiring travel outside of 50 miles of the studio (63028) is $1,000. There is no in studio minimum.
Are bridal trials required?
Although a bridal trial is not "required", we do recommend booking one. Your wedding day is not the day to be deciding on colors and making changes to your makeup look. During your trial, we have time to go a little slower, talk about your preferences and really narrow down the perfect look you always dreamed of on your wedding day.
I love your style! When should I book?
We have brides who book one year (sometimes further) in advance. If you're ready, don't wait! BOOK NOW, before all of your favorite wedding vendors are booked on your day. It's just one more thing to get checked off your list!
What brands of makeup do you use?
We use a wide variety of high end, well known brands as well as some pro favorites that you may or may not be familiar with to fit our client's needs.
Do you offer Airbrush Makeup?
Although we are certified in airbrush we are not in love with the results. Our artists are trained to provide excellent and lasting results using modern techniques. This way we are able to ensure our quality. For us, airbrush doesn't provide the same quality.
How can I check your availability for my wedding date?

My fiancé or the groomsmen might want a face touchup. Do you offer any services for the groom?
Men's grooming is $50. We will cover the groom's blemishes, dark circles, etc. The makeup will be nearly invisible to the eye.
Do you accept partial payments or can my bridesmaids pay you separately?
We want to make the payment process as easy as possible for our clients! To ensure a smooth and stress free experience, we ask that the bride collects all payments from individual party members. We only accept one full payment of the total invoiced amount.
Is gratuity in the pricing?
Yes! A 20% gratuity is added to the total cost of our services to ensure that our artists are appreciated properly! This cost will reflect on the final invoice!
My date is available, how can I make sure no one takes it?
Once we have secured your 20% deposit (via venmo), we will block the date off our availability.

What is the deadline to finalize details and a headcount?
All contracts must be filled out and returned within 120 days of the wedding date (For weddings booked within 3 months of wedding day, it must be filled out the day the deposit is sent). Once the contracts are signed, the final invoice must be paid 7 days before the wedding day. Failure to pay final invoice will result in a breach of contract.
Can I make payments?
Yes! Here at Powder Room, we get it. Whatever we can do to make things easier! As long as the total invoice is paid within 7 days of the event/wedding.
When is the final payment due?
At least 7 days before the wedding/event. We request that all payments are from ONE person. It's harder to keep track when individuals pay separately for theirportion, so please gather the money and make it in one payment.
How many bridesmaids is too many for Powder Room to service on my special day?
AS MANY AS YOU WANT. Our preferred ratio is 7 brides/bridesmaids to 1 MUA. If you're bridal party is over 7 (including the brides(s)) an additional MUA will be required for the difference in people. To add a second MUA a flat rate of $300, a 10% increase in gratuity (20% gratuity for just one MUA), 30% for 2+ MUA's & a second travel cost will be applied to the invoice to insure that everyone is compensated properly for their time and talent.
